Vodafone mHealth Solutions can bring back value into the product pipeline where more stringent regulatory scrutiny is driving the need for larger, multi-ethnical, global late-phase clinical trials. The cost of these clinical trials continues to escalate due to the need to deliver more comprehensive data sets, as well as to the ongoing recruitment challenges resulting from the increased demand for more stratified and personalised medicine.
Our mHealth Solutions can help pharmaceutical and contract research organisations to streamline the clinical trial process, speeding up the time to database lockdown whilst improving the quality of data. Our solutions are transforming mobile communications and network technologies into vital tools for enhancing efficiencies within clinical research, both by more effective monitoring of trial participants and processes and in the provision of reported information.
As clinical studies become more global and logistically challenging, Vodafone’s global footprint also offers customers the reassurance of support from a global communications part. Our mHealth solutions for clinical research can be used wherever your trials are taking place.
Some of our mHealth solutions are only available in our local markets or globally only to our multinational customers. Please consult your Vodafone account manager or contact Vodafone mHealth Solutions directly for more information on where we can support you.
Our mobile-web based PRO solution was leveraged to meet the challenges of a large clinical trial sponsor with respect to the timing of PRO data capture for a Phase 2 Smoking Cessation study. Clinical trial sites were moreover required to have real-time access to the captured data and to receive alerts to potential protocol contraventions. Our solution enabled diary completion within a small time frame as well as allowed the research teams to access the captured information instantaneously and receive prompt alerts.
